The Rojas family (our asylum seekers from Peru living at Gloria Dei) has never seen snow. Never experienced subzero temperatures or wind chills. Let’s make sure they are prepared for their first Minnesota winter!
As you get yourself and your children ready for the coming cold, is there gently used outerwear in your closet you would like to pass on—down coats, snow pants, boots, wool sweaters and socks?
Sebastian wears a child’s size 10 jacket and snow pant and size 2 or 3 boot. Luis wears a men’s large jacket and size 9 boot. Stephanie wears a women’s medium/large jacket and size 6.5 boot.
Please put items in a bag labeled “Rojas Family” and leave in the office. Thank you!
