Gloria Dei will be hosting Friday noonday organ recitals in June again this year, highlighting our new Letourneau/Casavant pipe organ. These recitals are 30 minutes in length and are followed by lemonade and cookies reception in the Gathering Place (or Courtyard, if weather permits). Our recitalists this year are:

June 6 – Dr. Gregory Peterson, director of music and organist at Normandale Lutheran Church in Edina and formerly the organ professor at Luther College, Decorah, Iowa.

June 13 – Dr. Samuel Backman, director of music and organist at Holy Cross Catholic Church in NE Minneapolis.

June 20 – Karla Johnson Beck, organist at First Lutheran Church, St. James, Minn., and Timothy Strand, director of music at Gloria Dei

June 27 – Dr. Melanie Ohnstad, organist and director of music emeritus, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis.
