Soul Food, a group that discusses books from a faith perspective, meets weekly during the school year from 9:30-11 a.m., on Wednesday mornings. We begin each week with a prayerful reading of the coming Sunday’s gospel text and prayer. Then, we discuss a few chapters from a book we’ve chosen to read together, including time for questions, Bible study and personal reflection. You’re welcome to come for all or any of the discussions. Your presence will make our conversation that much more meaningful.
During Advent we will be discussing This Here Flesh: Spirituality, Liberation, and the Stories that Shape Us by Cole Arthur Riley. See our reading assignments and our entire schedule for the year at Soul-Food-Schedule-2022-2023.
Email Pastor Lois Pallmeyer for details or information. We look forward to having you with us for our discussions.
