Soul Food, a group that discusses books from a faith perspective, meets weekly during the school year from 9:30-11 a.m., on Wednesday mornings (in Room 109 and on Zoom). We begin each week with a prayerful reading of the coming Sunday’s gospel text and prayer. Then, we discuss a few chapters from a book we’ve chosen to read together, including time for questions, Bible study and personal reflection. You’re welcome to come for all or any of the discussions. Your presence will make our conversation that much more meaningful. We hold in person meetings, with a Zoom connection for those who want to join the discussion from home. We are concluding our year with The Seeker and the Monk: Everyday Conversations with Thomas Merton by Sophfronia Scott. We will take a break for the summer months.
