Soul Food, a group that discusses books from a faith perspective, meets weekly during the school year from 9:30-11 a.m., on Wednesday mornings. We resume on September 15. We begin each week with a prayerful reading of the coming Sunday’s gospel text and prayer. Then, we discuss a few chapters from a book we’ve chosen to read together, including time for questions, Bible study and personal reflection. You’re welcome to come for all or any of the discussions. Your presence will make our conversation that much more meaningful.
Click here for Soul Food’s 2021-2022 Reading Calendar. We’re kicking off our fall with a discussion of The Seed Keeper (a novel), by Diane Wilson. We’ll discuss the book in its entirety on our first meeting of the year, September 15. This first meeting will be on Zoom, but we hope we’ll be able to meet in person soon. Email Pastor Lois Pallmeyer for the Zoom link, and for any other details or information. We look forward to having you with us for our discussions.
