COVID Health & Safety as of March 1, 2022

Effective March 1, 2022, our current practice at Gloria Dei is to wear masks for worship and in any gathering larger than 15 people. This extends to all Sunday morning activities (worship, Sunday School, Sunday Forum) and all Wednesday evening activities (Lenten worship, Confirmation).

We recognize the declining case rates locally, and we want to do our part to help the virus recede even more. We continue to hold care and concern for households with young children who are still unable to be vaccinated against this virus. While our Sanctuary renovation is underway, we worship in a smaller space where it can be harder to maintain physical distance. We continue to choose options that care for our neighbors.

We continue to hold three in-person Sunday worship services: 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., with a live broadcast on YouTube of the 10:45 a.m. service. Each time offers the same service with Holy Communion and is 45 minutes long. The adjustments to communion distribution and singing continue. We encourage you to try the 9:30 a.m. service to help balance attendance numbers at the services.

It remains important that if you or anyone in your household doesn’t feel well or has been exposed to COVID, or are not as fully vaccinated as possible, you choose to stay home and worship with us online.
