Soul Food meets most Fridays of the school year to discuss a book from a faith perspective. We read a few chapters at a time, and enjoy rich discussions and engaging conversations. In addition we take time to reflect on the upcoming Sunday’s gospel reading, and pray together. All are welcome to join us as we gather to discuss one or all of the books through the year.

Our discussion for the next five weeks centers on Endure: The Power of Spiritual Assets for Resilience to Trauma and Stress.  Written by Gloria Dei member Daniel Maurer, Endure describes real stories of how people have faced trauma or stress and found the ability to persevere. Maurer will join us on our final discussion. Join us and bring your own perspective on how you have been shaped by the challenges and transitions in your journey.
