Are you looking for a way to be of service at Gloria Dei but need it to be flexible to fit your busy schedule? Then Care Team Ministry is for you!! Care Team Ministry offers friendship and support to members of our congregation. The ministry creates a team of volunteers specifically around an individual’s or family’s needs. The team supports members in as many non-medical ways as possible. You can give as much or as little time as you have. Some Care Team Ministers visit their Care Team Partner once a week or once a month. Others check in by phone. Others take a person to an appointment occasionally. Others may prepare a meal for a person or family in need. We meet every other month for a short in-service and a chance to support one another in this important ministry. Care Team Ministers report that they receive much more than they give!! We are looking for new members!! Sound intriguing?
