7/30/2008 8:28 AMWe hope you'll all be part of the excitement on Sunday morning, September 28, when the Gloria Dei Auction returns in a big, big way for our 100th anniversary! The committee is gathering donations now, and we welcome items both large and small. Individual donations of handmade items, dinners, lessons, cabin time, baked goods and other treasures are our mainstay and we look forward to these donations again this year. We are also asking each committee and group in the church to get together to donate larger items, such as theme baskets, and we are putting special emphasis this year on larger items that can be a part of the live auction. More than 450 local retailers have been contacted about donations as well, and this promises to be our biggest auction ever.
Yellow donation forms will be available at the office beginning July 20.
