WELCOME!

Are you interested in becoming a new member of Gloria Dei?  

I want to invite you to the next new member orientation, which begins on Sunday, September 21, 2008, at 6:30 PM.  The orientation sessions will include an overview of the mission and ministry of Gloria Dei, small group Bible study and discussion, and an opportunity to meet the staff of Gloria Dei.  You will also hear about the various ministries of Gloria Dei, so that you can decide where to be involved in the life and mission of our congregation.

The new member orientation sessions will be held on five Sundays.  The schedule is as follows:

Sunday evening, September 21st

• 6:30 – 8:00 PM.  Large Group Gathering. Meet in choir stalls in the Sanctuary.  Childcare will be available in the nursery. You may want to attend the 5:00 PM Worship Service beforehand. (Please notify me in advance if you will need childcare).

Sunday evenings, September 28^th and October 5th

• 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Small Group Gatherings in homes.  Groups will be assigned at the first meeting. You may volunteer your home as a meeting place. The small group meeting will include getting acquainted and small group Bible study.

Sunday morning, October 12th 

• 9:45 –  10:45 AM. Large Group Gathering. Meet in the Chapel.  The presentation will focus on stewardship and the opportunities that are available for members to become involved in the life and ministry of Gloria Dei.

Sunday morning, October 19th (23^rd Sunday after Pentecost)

• 9:45 –10:45 AM.  Large Group Gathering in the Gallery.  Meet the staff and leadership of Gloria Dei.  Pictures will be taken of all new members.
• 11:00 AM.  All new members welcomed into membership at the late Worship Service.
