Reading of the Day: Galatians 3:25-27
“But now that faith has come, we are no longer subject to a disciplinarian, for in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.”
Gloria Dei is truly a church home to me, a place where I am reminded of my baptism and my parents’ act of love in continuing to bring me to church and instill the belief that faith in God helps us to navigate life’s challenges, make better choices and appreciate authentic beauty.
One of my greatest joys in worshiping here is observing the beauty and innocence of the children. No matter what the painful events in the world or one’s own personal life are, God’s presence is affirmed in the faces of the little ones.
PRAYER: Dear Jesus, help me to walk as a child of the light. Amen.
