Children's Sunday School uses the Spark curriculum from Augsburg Fortress, which is renowned for its engaging, age-appropriate lessons. Spark is centered on learning from the Bible and uses the new Spark Story Bible with preschoolers and the Spark NRSV Bible with elementary children. Spark is written from a Lutheran perspective on faith and life.

Sunday School teaches lectionary lessons, which means that the lessons are the same texts as are used in worship. These texts are published ahead of time and available online. This encourages families to talk together, both to prepare for the story and also to discuss what they have learned in Sunday School and in worship. This is one more way that parents are supported to be the primary nurturers of their children's faith.
