When do we meet?
During the year, mentors are invited to attend a number of Wednesday evening classes (6:30—7:30 p.m.) with their students, and to discuss the material with them.

In addition, we encourage mentors to meet with their mentees periodically during the year for service events, faith conversations, or just for fun.  From time to time we will provide you with a list of upcoming opportunities for you to participate in.

Lent  —During the Lenten Season we ask that mentors and mentees participate in three of the five Wednesday Soup Suppers that are offered (5:30—7:00 p.m.).  At each meal you will have the opportunity to discuss the theme of the night. Then you’ll worship together at our midweek Lenten worship service (7:00—8:00 p.m.).

The Faith Statement Workshop, in January of 10th grade, provides confirmation students the opportunity to summarize their faith and growth over the past four years.  This is a culmination of all that they have discussed and considered in classes and retreats, and all of the conversations and activities they have shared with you. Your presence at the Workshop allows your student time to discuss his or her thoughts and ideas with you as he or she prepares a faith statement. The two of you will have time to discuss and reflect on several faith questions during the workshop. More specific dates to come.
