| Gloria Dei Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), which has its churchwide offices in Chicago, Illinois. As Lutheran Christians, we confess our faith in Jesus Christ and celebrate God's saving love and forgiveness. In the worship life of God's people, we proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and give central importance to the Scriptures and the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We join Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox Christians around the world in confessing our faith in the Triune God and in being God's caring servants in the world.
