A big thank you
to all who helped with the Interfaith Builders Habitat for Humanity build this
summer!!!
Volunteers from Gloria Dei helped with siding, painting, site hosting,
providing food, and other efforts during the two week build. We made great progress
on the home at 1044 Bush Avenue in St. Paul!
Interfaith
Builders is a coalition of Saint Paul churches and synagogues who have joined
together to work with Habitat for Humanity to build safe, affordable homes for
families in need. Some of this year’s participating
congregations included: Macalester Plymouth United Church, Temple of Aaron, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, St.
Paul UCC and Gloria Dei Lutheran church. In addition to building homes, the
group also builds relationships and understanding among parishioners from
different faiths.
This is the fourth year we
have come together with our Interfaith Builder neighbors
to help a deserving family achieve a dream – home ownership.
None of us could have done it alone.
Thanks again!
We hope you will want to be part of next year’s build!
