Anyone who knits can become involved!!  The idea is to knit a shawl while praying for the recipient.  The prayer shawl will be given to a person who needs to feel the comfort of prayer for whatever reason: the loss of a loved one, dealing with a chronic illness, going through chemotherapy or radiation, recovering from surgery, etc. Pick up a yellow packet that includes an article on Prayer Shawls and the pattern for making one (found on pamphlet rack across from Parish Nurse Office). 

You can drop off completed Prayer Shawls at  the Parish Nurse's office.
