LSS "Make-a-Meal"Nights the last Wednesday of each month. Work in the kitchen to help prepare, cook and package a meal for a local youth homeless shelter. Talk to Pete Erickson for more details.
Rite of Confirmation reception. (For 9th graders and mentors) April 15, 2012 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. Get a sneak peak at what happens at the Rite of Confirmation by helping to serve the reception that follows the service. Come to see the 10th graders affirm their baptism; stay to serve punch and cake to their guests.
Go bowling
Go out for ice cream or coffee
Watch a game together
Watch a movie together
Go for a walk or a bike ride together
Talk about what’s going on in your lives
Talk about what the sermon was about on Sunday
Mentors find out what teams/plays/recitals/concerts their 9th grader is playing in, and try to attend one.
Pray for each other
Tell each other about something interesting you've read
Think of something else that you'd enjoy doing.
