This year's guest speaker is Mark Hallberg, Attorney. Mark A. Hallberg is a respected trial lawyer with more than 25
years of experience focusing on medical malpractice, personal injury, automobile
and vehicular negligence, and product liability litigation. He has dedicated his
career to helping clients convey their stories in compelling and meaningful ways
with an emphasis on integrity and success.
Certified in civil trial
advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Litigation Section of
the Minnesota State Bar Association, Mr. Hallberg has tried more than 75 trials
to verdict. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an
organization whose membership represents the top one percent of all trial
attorneys in the nation. Mr. Hallberg has argued cases in the Minnesota Court of
Appeals and the Minnesota Supreme Court, helping establish important legal
precedents in medical malpractice law.
He has obtained several
multimillion-dollar settlements on behalf of his clients, and his results are
regularly listed among the state's top settlements and verdicts. He has served
as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law since 1998, teaching
courses in Medical Malpractice Law. He regularly speaks to medical groups about
malpractice issues, and has presented dozens of continuing legal education
seminars.
Mr. Hallberg lives in Stillwater, Minnesota, with his wife,
Mary Jo. They have two grown children.
