Welcome to the Annual Gloria Dei Summer Golf Classic! 

The date for the 2008 Gloria Dei Summer Golf Classic is Sunday, August 17, 2008.  "Check-in" at the course is at 12:30 p.m. and tee times begin at 1:00 p.m.

Who Can Play?
This annual 9 hole golf scramble, sponsored by the Men of Gloria Dei, is open to the entire congregation (all ages)…in fact…bring a friend!  And, you don’t have to be a pro to participate.  The only requirement for participation is interest in having a lot of fun!

How do I sign-up?
Easy...there is a sign-up sheet just outside the church office, or you can register on line by clicking Registration.

How much does it cost and what’s included?
Green Fee’s are $20 (+/-) per person.  Power cart rental is $10 (+/-) per person. There are no entry fee’s.

Who do I pay? / When do I pay?
All participants will pay Green Fees at the 1st tee.  Checks are to be made payable to Todd Cummings.  Checks preferred or exact cash.  No credit cards.  Golf Cart rental may be paid in the club house.

What is a scramble?
Each person will be golfing in a four-some.  On each hole, all golfers will drive (first shot) the ball off the tee. The four-some will select the “best positioned” person’s drive and all players will then hit their second shots from that position. This format of play continues until the hole is completed (including play on the green).  The group score is then recorded.  Note:   Each four-some will be required to use 1 drive from each player during the 9 holes of play.  There is strategy here!
