This year’s fall programming began on Rally Day, when our country marked the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. In the decade since, we have recognized the need to more fully understand our neighbors’ faith and how it shapes the way they see us. Small Book Discussion Groups are launching this fall to discuss The Faith Club: A Muslim, A Christian, A Jew-- Three Women Search for Understanding by Ranya Idliby, Suzanne Oliver and Priscilla Warner. We’re looking forward to sharing our own perspectives and reactions to the reading, while getting to know others at Gloria Dei. Small groups will meet at church and at people’s homes, and we’re looking forward to having you with us!
Books are available now in the church office for $10.00, and are also available in many bookstores or online retailers.
