 | Gloria Dei Centennial Event – Gloria Dei’s 100th Birthday Party 5/19/2008 9:19 AM
The final day of Sunday School was celebrated as a traditional birthday party for all ages – complete with cake, candles, balloons, and birthday presents! Come and sing “Happy Birthday” to our congregation. A surprise guest, "Pastor C.J. Karl" Gloria Dei’s first pastor was present with us. Young children took home a special present from the congregation -- a Gloria Dei Centennial coloring book. At the end of the party (around 10:30 a.m.), we gathered on the front lawn to pose for a photograph of the entire congregation. See more photos of the event on the Centennial Photo Album!
