| In Holy Baptism our gracious God liberates us from sin and death by joining us to the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are born children of a fallen humanity; in the waters of Baptism we are reborn children of God…
The confirmation program at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church seeks to uphold God’s children as they affirm the gifts and promises of baptism. Together we celebrate the light of promise; a light given to us the very day we laughed, cried, or slept as waters of baptism splashed over us. Almost weekly we are reminded of this light shining within us as we hear over and over again, "Let your light so shine before others, so that they may see your good work's and give glory to your God in heaven." This is the light of Christ that shines brightly within us all.
From 6:30 – 7:45 p.m., each Wednesday from early fall until Easter, our 7th – 10th graders explore and question what it means for them to have faith and live that faith in a global community.
